Toronto Urban Roots Festival 2016 @ Fort York

As another summer comes to a close, another edition of the Toronto Urban Roots Festival (TURF for short) arrives as a final celebration to ease us into the impending wintry weather.

With an artist pool of varying notoriety, TURF helped me to cross off some artists of my 'want to watch/photograph' list, and also introduced me to some exceptional new talent. Of the discoveries I encountered throughout the weekend, my favourite was female singer-songwriter, Julien Baker.
