Katrina is a Toronto-based Experience Designer working at the intersection of creativity + commerce across events, immersive experiences, and cultural programming. She holds an HBA from Ivey Business School and has developed strategy for projects spanning entertainment, events, technology, and consumer packaged goods.

Over the past three years, Katrina has attended 800+ immersive works across 80 cities on three continents, grounding her practice in one of the most robust bodies of firsthand field research in the immersive sector. She has spoken about experience design at conferences such as FITC, SXSW, and the Next Stage Immersive Summit. At FITC Toronto 2025, she first launched the AURA framework for determining the overall quality of an immersive experience. ​

Katrina has worked as an Experience Designer with a variety of musicians, conferences, and corporations, including the College of Extraordinary Experiences and Microsoft. She is also a Curator for No Proscenium, where she reviews immersive experiences in Toronto and abroad.

 

As a photographer, her work has appeared in the Toronto Star, BBC, Exclaim, CBC, and in collaborations with Jack Daniel’s, Live Nation, Grolsch, and Samsung. 

She absolutely loves secrets and puzzles.
